Account & Sign-In

Your Yucts Travel account is your Yucts Travel Forum account — the app and the forum share the same account. Features that require signing in will automatically bring up the sign-in screen, and you can also reach it via Home → compass icon at top left (Profile) → Account → Sign in to Forum.

Sign-In Methods​

The sign-in screen offers three methods:

1. Username and Password​

  1. On the Sign In tab, enter your username or email and password.
  2. Tap Sign In.
  • If the account has two-step verification (2FA) enabled, a verification screen appears. You can choose a verification method (authenticator app / email code) and enter the code to finish signing in; codes sent by email offer a "resend" option.
  • Forgot your password? Tap Forgot password? below the sign-in form and enter your email to receive a reset message.

2. Sign in with Apple​

Tap the Sign in with Apple button in the Or use a social account section below the sign-in screen to sign in with your Apple ID.

If the account has two-step verification enabled, Apple sign-in will prompt you to sign in with your username and password instead. To use Apple sign-in, you must first be signed in to your Apple ID in the device's Settings.

3. Other Social Accounts​

Tapping Sign in with another account signs you in via the forum's web authorization flow (OAuth), letting you use third-party accounts enabled on the forum (such as Facebook or Google).

Advanced: Secure Web Sign-In

Press and hold the logo at the top of the sign-in screen for about 1 second to reveal an additional "Use secure web sign-in (OAuth)" option. For normal use, the methods above are sufficient.

Registration​

On the sign-in screen, switch to the Register tab:

  1. Fill in your username, email, password, and password confirmation.
  2. Check the box to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (you can tap View Terms of Service to read them).
  3. After passing the anti-bot check, tap Create Account.

Depending on the site's configuration, after registering you may: sign in directly, receive a verification email before signing in, or enter a state of waiting for administrator approval.

Profile and Account Settings​

Under Forum → avatar menu at top right → Account Settings, you can:

  • Change your avatar.
  • Edit your custom profile fields.
  • Adjust your notification preferences.

On the Profile page (the compass icon at the top left of Home), you can view forum info, your membership (Yucts Plus) status, and My Bookmarks, and you can open your forum profile.

Changing Password / Email

For security reasons, change your password and email on the forum website; the app only provides sign-in, registration, and password recovery.

Phone Verification​

Under Profile → Account → Phone Verification:

  1. Enter your phone number in E.164 international format (including the country code, e.g. +886912345678 for Taiwan).
  2. Tap Send Code, and the app will send a 6-digit verification code.
  3. Enter the code and tap Confirm to finish.

A verified number is shown as a masked number with the verification time; to change it, tap Verify another number to verify again.

Signed-In Devices​

Under Profile → Account → Signed-In Devices, you can view and manage your sign-in status across two tabs:

  • App Devices: This app's sign-in records on each iPhone/iPad, showing the device name, platform, masked IP, location (city / region / country), and last activity time. You can swipe left to revoke other devices; the current device cannot be revoked here — use "Sign Out" instead.
  • Forum Sessions: Manage the forum website's "Remember Me" sign-ins.

Sign Out and Delete Account​

Under Profile → Account:

  • Sign Out: Tap "Sign Out" to clear the local sign-in state and cache.
  • Delete Account: Tap "Delete Account." You must enter your username to confirm (it must match the current account), and you can optionally provide a reason for leaving. Deletion is scheduled, and you can cancel it simply by signing back in during the grace period. Affected data includes: all posted threads and posts, private messages and conversations, bookmarks, follows and notification records, and your profile and avatar.
