Yucts Plus Subscription
Yucts Plus is the app's paid plan. In-app purchase and billing go through the Apple App Store; the forum has a corresponding web-based upgrade channel as well.

Benefits
- Remove in-app ads (ads across the whole app are hidden automatically after upgrading)
- Forum VIP user group (you're automatically placed in the VIP group after upgrading)
- VIP prestige identity: a gold badge, a gold avatar frame, and a member name card, showing your status across posts, member listings, private messages, reactions, following, and @mentions.
- Exclusive color theme and an exclusive app icon (cherry-blossom Japanese style).
- Advanced personal statistics (the VIP profile page additionally shows best answers, likes received, followers, and more).
- Higher daily AI assistant quota (Cloud AI gets 10× the daily quota and priority responses).
- Support the development team
After upgrading to Yucts Plus, ads throughout the app are hidden automatically. (Before upgrading, even if you opt out of tracking under ATT, ads are still shown — they just become non-personalized.)
Two Sources of Upgraded Status
Whether you're a Plus member is determined by combining two sources; either being active counts as Plus:
- Apple in-app purchase (in-app purchase): A monthly / annual / lifetime purchase completed in the app via the App Store.
- Forum upgrade (web ECPay payment or site-granted): A payment completed via ECPay on the forum at
forum.yucts.com, or an upgrade granted manually by the site (admin / moderator / VIP).
When you're already a Plus member, the Yucts Plus page shows your current status (expiry date / lifetime member) and provides renewal guidance based on the source; the purchase button is hidden for lifetime members to avoid duplicate payments.
How to Subscribe
- Open the Yucts Plus page via "Profile → Membership" or the upgrade entry within any feature.
- Choose a plan and tap "Upgrade Now."
- You must sign in to your forum account first; if not signed in, you'll be prompted to sign in.
- Complete the payment via Apple (a system payment confirmation appears).
Expiry Reminders
You'll receive a local reminder notification 7 days before your subscription expires, with different content based on the upgrade source:
- Apple in-app purchase: Reminds you that Apple will soon auto-renew, and guides you on how to cancel under "Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions."
- Forum ECPay: Reminds you to go to
forum.yucts.comto complete a manual renewal. - Site-granted: Reminds you of the expiry; contact support if you need an extension.
Lifetime members don't receive expiry reminders. On the Yucts Plus page, a prominent "expiring soon" notice also appears 7 days before expiry.
Restore Purchases
After switching to a new device or reinstalling, tap "Restore Purchases" on the Yucts Plus page to restore your existing benefits (you must also sign in first). Restoring refreshes the status of both the Apple in-app purchase and the forum upgrade sources together.
Managing and Canceling
- Monthly / annual subscription (via Apple): Manage or cancel under iOS "Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions." Auto-renewal is charged before each period ends; you must cancel at least 24 hours before the next cycle begins to avoid being charged for the next period.
- Forum ECPay upgrade: Manage or renew on your account page at
forum.yucts.com. - Lifetime Unlock: A one-time purchase with no renewal to manage.
- Refunds: Apple in-app purchases are requested through Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com).
