Account & Sign-In

Your Yucts Travel account is your Yucts Travel forum account — the app and the forum share the same account. The sign-in entry point is the "Account" tab of the settings window.

How to open it: press ⌘,, choose "Yucts Travel → Settings…" from the menu bar, or click the gear icon in the user footer at the bottom of the sidebar.

Sign-In Methods​

The "Account" tab offers the following methods:

1. Username and Password​

  1. Enter your username or email and password.
  2. Click "Sign In".
  • If your account has two-step verification (2FA) enabled, a verification screen appears where you can choose a verification method (authenticator app / email code / backup code / SMS code) and enter the code to complete sign-in; methods that need a code sent offer a "Send Code" button.
  • Forgot your password? Click "Forgot Password" and enter your email to receive a reset message.

2. Sign in with Apple​

Click the "Sign in with Apple" button to sign in with your Apple ID.

To use Sign in with Apple, you must first be signed in with your Apple Account in System Settings on your Mac.

Registration​

Click "Create New Account":

  1. Fill in your username, email, and password.
  2. After submitting, depending on the site's settings, you may be signed in directly, need to receive a verification email first, or enter a wait for admin approval state.

After Signing In​

After signing in, the "Account" tab shows your username and a "Sign Out" button, and from here you can open the Yucts Plus membership page (see Yucts Plus Subscription).

Changing your password / email

For security reasons, please change your password and email on the forum website; the app provides sign-in, registration, forgot password, and two-step verification.

Signing Out​

Click "Sign Out" on the "Account" tab to clear the sign-in state on this device. After signing out, features that require signing in will show the sign-in prompt again.
