Travel Records & Documents

The sidebar's "Travel Tools" section groups the tools into three categories — Trip / Money / Tools — and clicking any tool card opens it in a panel. The data comes from iCloud sync data shared with iOS.

Desktop limitations
  • Most tools have data only after you sign in and complete iCloud sync; the items you can create on the desktop are limited.
  • Travel journals, travel expenses, and document files are mostly read-only views on the Mac (creation, photos, and editing of confidential fields are currently done on iOS).
  • Trip Planning: the trip list and trip details (see Travel Planning & Map).
  • Trip Templates: 5 built-in templates are provided; click "Create Trip" to create a trip from a template.
  • Packing List: grouped by category, with check-off packing, a progress bar, and add / delete (right-click menu).
  • Order Management: lists each order (type icon, confirmation code, amount, status), and each one offers "Add to Apple Wallet".
  • Companions: add / delete companions and set their role and share ratio.
  • Departure Reminders: schedule local reminders for a trip (the day before departure and at 08:00 on the day); requires notification permission.
  • Travel Expenses: lists the trip's spending details and total spending (a detail view on the desktop; receipt photos are on iOS).
  • Expense Statistics: shown as a pie chart by category, with amounts listed.
  • Conversion Tool: converts 20 currencies to TWD (with built-in reference rates); fully functional and ready to use immediately.
  • Shopping List: check off purchased items, see a to-buy subtotal, and add (with prices) and delete.

Other Tools

  • Travel Journal: lists journal entries (mood emoji, title, body); a read-only text view on the desktop.
  • Documents: lists document summaries (type, title, expiry date). Confidential fields stay in the Keychain and are not decrypted on the desktop, showing only the public summary.
  • Saved Places: a list of places with map markers on the right.
  • Custom Categories: manage built-in / custom categories by emoji and name (soft delete).
  • Local Weather / Translation Phrase Cards: see Travel Tools and AI Assistant & Translation.

Split Settlement

In trip details you can use split settlement: based on each companion's share, it turns the trip's shared expenses into the simplest "who pays whom" transfers, making it easy to settle up at the end of the trip.

Export PDF

In trip details you can export a PDF: it generates the trip content page by page, saves it to Documents/Exports, and reveals it in Finder for easy printing or sharing.

Apple Wallet Passes

Orders with a confirmation code can use "Add to Apple Wallet" to obtain a pass and hand it off to the system Wallet app.

Apple Wallet passes depend on backend enablement

Server-side issuance of Apple Wallet passes requires the backend to be enabled. If the backend hasn't been enabled yet, you'll see a "Wallet not set up" message, which is normal.
