Categories and Search

Beyond the latest articles on Home, you can also browse by topic or find articles directly by keyword.

Categories​

Switch to the Categories tab and you'll see:

  • Overview numbers — The top of the page shows how many categories and how many articles there are in total.
  • Popular tags — The more popular categories, chosen by article count, are shown as tags; the ones with the most articles are highlighted in the accent color. Tap one to browse.
  • Category grid — Every category laid out as cards in two columns, each showing the category name, a representative icon, and its article count.

Tap any category card or tag to open that category's article list; scroll down and more load automatically.

Pull down to refresh the categories and get the latest categories and article counts.

Switch to the Search tab and type a keyword into the search bar at the top:

  • Live search — Results appear as you type, so you don't have to hit submit every time.
  • Search results — Matching articles appear as a list; scroll down and more load automatically.
  • No results — If nothing matches, you'll see a message — just try a different keyword.

Recent Searches​

  • Before you type anything, the Search page lists your recent searches; tap one to run it again.
  • Tap Clear All in the top right to wipe your recent search history all at once.
  • Recent searches are stored only on your device.

When you tap a yucdu.com link to a category, tag, author, or date-based archive from another app or your browser, YucDu opens the matching article list right inside the app, so you can pick up reading seamlessly.
