Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 4, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how YUCTS (櫻佑旅遊) (hereinafter the "Service") uses cookies and similar technologies on its websites. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device, used to maintain login status, ensure security, remember preferences, or provide analytics and advertising functions.
2. Scope
- This Policy applies primarily to the Service's websites, in particular the forum (forum.yucts.com) and the information site (yucts.com).
- The Yucts Travel App and the backend API use token-based authentication and do not use cookies. Advertising and tracking within the App are handled separately in accordance with the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework (see Section 5).
- The YucDu App is a read-only reader that likewise does not use cookies between itself and the backend API, and displays no advertising and performs no tracking.
3. Strictly Necessary Cookies (Cannot Be Disabled)
These are necessary to maintain the website's basic functions, login, and security, including (forum):
| Cookie | Purpose |
|---|---|
xf_session | Stores the session identifier |
xf_user | Maintains login status across sessions |
xf_csrf | Prevents cross-site request forgery (CSRF), guarding against malicious requests |
xf_consent | Stores your cookie consent choices |
xf_language_id | Remembers the language you selected |
In addition, the Service uses Cloudflare to provide security protection and content delivery, which may set cookies necessary to keep the Service secure and operating normally.
4. Functional Cookies (Optional)
Used to enhance the user experience, for example:
| Cookie | Purpose |
|---|---|
xf_emoji_usage | Remembers the emoji you have used recently, for convenient selection when composing |
5. Advertising and Tracking (App)
The Yucts Travel App displays advertising through Google AdMob. On iOS, the App may use the advertising identifier (IDFA) to provide personalized advertising only after seeking your consent in accordance with the ATT framework; if you do not consent, non-personalized advertising will still be shown. You may change the authorization under iOS "Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking," or upgrade to Yucts Plus to remove in-app advertising. For details, see Section 5 of the Privacy Policy.
6. Third-Party Embedded Content Cookies
When a page embeds content from third-party platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Spotify, Reddit, etc.), those third parties may set their own cookies, managed by them respectively; this Policy does not apply to such third parties.
7. How to Manage Cookies
- You can view, delete, or block cookies through your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Opera, etc.).
- You can change your preferences for optional cookies through the website's cookie consent settings.
- Please note that disabling certain necessary cookies may cause login or some functions to not work properly.
8. Policy Updates
If this Cookie Policy is updated, the update will be posted on this page and the "Last updated" date will be updated.
