Terms of Service

Welcome to YUCTS (櫻佑旅遊) (hereinafter the "Service" or "we"). The Service is operated by an individual operator. When you access or use the Service (including yucts.com, forum.yucts.com, the Yucts Travel App, yucdu.com, the YucDu App, status.yucts.com, and related backend services), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service​

The Service provides: travel information and articles; travel tools such as itinerary planning and expense tracking; an AI travel assistant; forum community discussions; deal information; push notifications; and paid subscription features such as "Yucts Plus." In addition, we also provide the YucDu App—a free, read-only blog reader with no account, advertising, in-app purchases, or community interaction features. The contents of the Service may be adjusted, added, or discontinued at any time without separate individual notice.

2. Accounts​

  • The Service's member account is the YUCTS Forum account, registered and managed at forum.yucts.com.
  • When you log in via the App, the system opens the forum website for secure authentication (OAuth authorization); your password is not processed or stored by the App.
  • You shall provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information, safeguard your login credentials, and be responsible for all activity under your account. If you discover unauthorized use, please notify us immediately.
  • You may review and revoke "Logged-in Devices" in your settings.

3. User-Generated Content (UGC) and Community Guidelines​

The Service allows you to create and post content, including forum topics, replies, private messages, profile comments, reviews, image/video attachments, reactions, and emoji (collectively, "User Content").

3.1 Your Responsibility​

You are solely responsible for the User Content you post, and you represent and warrant that you have the lawful right to post such content.

3.2 Prohibited Conduct​

You may not post or engage in the following content or conduct:

  • Content that violates the laws of the Republic of China or the laws of your location;
  • Pornographic, obscene, or violent content, or content that endangers public safety;
  • Messages involving politics, religion, superstition, or other unlawful or maliciously disseminated information;
  • Harassment, bullying, hate, personal attacks, abuse, or threats against others;
  • Content that infringes others' intellectual property rights, privacy, or other rights;
  • Spam, advertising abuse, fraud, or malicious links;
  • Distribution of malware, or attempts to damage or gain unauthorized access to systems.

3.3 Content License​

In order to operate, present, and promote the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute the User Content you post, to the extent necessary to provide the Service. You retain the rights to your content.

3.4 Reporting, Moderation, and Removal​

The Service provides a reporting mechanism (for spam, harassment, inappropriate content, etc.) and offers features such as ignore/block. We have the right (but not the obligation) to review, remove, or restrict any content that violates these Terms, and to take measures such as warning, suspending, or terminating violating accounts.

4. Acceptable Use​

You agree not to engage in the following conduct: scraping content in bulk by automated means, circumventing security or authentication mechanisms, interfering with the normal operation of the Service, gaining unauthorized access to others' accounts or data, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual Property​

The Service's content, trademarks, logos, interface, and software (except for User Content you post under license) are protected by intellectual property law and belong to the operator of the Service or its licensors. Without prior written consent, you may not use, reproduce, modify, or distribute them.

6. Paid Services (Yucts Plus)​

The Yucts Travel App offers the paid subscription "Yucts Plus," with the following plans:

  • Monthly subscription and annual subscription: These are auto-renewing subscriptions.
  • Lifetime unlock: A one-time payment, valid permanently.

Regarding billing and management:

  • All in-app purchases are processed through the Apple App Store (StoreKit) and are subject to the Apple Media Services Terms. We do not have access to your payment card information.
  • Auto-renewing subscriptions are automatically renewed and charged before the end of each period; unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time under iOS "Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions."
  • You may use "Restore Purchases" in the App to restore existing entitlements.
  • Refunds must be requested from Apple in accordance with Apple's policy (reportaproblem.apple.com).
  • Yucts Plus entitlements may include: removal of in-app advertising, a forum VIP group, early access to featured content, cloud drafts, supporting the development team, and more. The entitlements may be adjusted, and material changes will be announced in advance.
  • If you make a payment on the forum website, it will be processed by a third-party payment service (ECPay/OPay) and subject to its related rules.

7. Advertising​

The Service (App) may display advertising. For an explanation of advertising personalization and tracking authorization, please refer to the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. Upgrading to a Yucts Plus subscription removes in-app advertising.

8. Third-Party Services and Travel Information​

  • The Service integrates with or links to various third-party services (such as Apple, Google, AI service providers, maps and weather, payments, KKday, etc.). These third parties have their own terms and policies, which you must also comply with when using them.
  • The travel information provided by the Service (itineraries, flights, prices, deals, etc.) is for reference only; the actual content, availability, and transaction terms are subject to the announcements of the respective suppliers or partners. Actual bookings and transactions for flights, accommodations, activities, etc. are provided by the relevant third-party suppliers, and the Service is not a party to such transactions and is not responsible for their performance.

9. Disclaimer​

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no express or implied warranty as to the Service's being uninterrupted, error-free, timely, accurate, or fit for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability​

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service. This disclaimer does not affect liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law (for example, mandatory provisions involving consumer protection).

11. Changes to and Interruption of the Service​

We may modify, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Service at any time. The operational status of the Service and material announcements will be disclosed at status.yucts.com.

12. Account Termination​

If you violate these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service. You may also stop using or delete your account at any time. After account termination, refunds of any subscription balance purchased through Apple are handled in accordance with Apple's policy.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction​

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). For disputes arising from these Terms or the Service, the parties agree that a court with jurisdiction in Taiwan shall be the court of first instance. If you are a user in Japan or another region, you still enjoy such non-excludable rights to the extent of the mandatory protections that local law provides to consumers.

14. Amendments to the Terms​

We may amend these Terms at any time and post the amendments on this page, updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after the amendments constitutes acceptance of the amended contents.
